    With over 15 years of experience in providing high quality performances for Fortune 500 Companies and established music festivals, Maikaze Daiko can tailor a performance for your specific needs. Our extensive network of collaborating artists can add musicians from traditional Japanese music including Shamisen (banjo), Shakuhachi (end blown flute), Koto (zither) and Shinobue (transverse flute); as well as other world musicians form the Indian and West African traditions to provide a fusion of World Music.

    Maikaze Daiko hosts the 2018 SF World Percussion Arts Festival. Special Guest Artists included:

    the world renowned KODO drummers, based on Sado Island, Japan.
